Manhattan House Case Study

Able was approached to tender for the proposed works at Manhattan House, Crowthorne which involved the strip out of the existing ground floor shop ready for Lloyds Pharmacy to take occupation. Even though our work within the shop demise consisted mainly of strip out works Able Contracts had to carry out alterations to the existing entrance doors to allow for disabled access.

Within the works package was the full strip out and refurbishment of the unoccupied office space on the second floor. This work was undertaken within budget and programme and is now fully let.

Able Contracts also undertook external works which incorporated the supply and installation of new windows to all floors, new shop front and a complete overlay of the existing felt roof.

Internally the common parts were completely refurbished.
